Can I use Unmiss with Siri and Shortcuts?
Yes. Ask Siri to start a routine or a focus block, add a to-do, or open Today. The same actions are in the Shortcuts app for automations you build, and three controls can sit in Control Center: start focus, start a routine and add a to-do. Spotlight finds your to-dos and routines by name.
What you can say
- "Start Morning in Unmiss", with your routine's name. Or "Start a routine in Unmiss" and pick one.
- "Start focus in Unmiss".
- "Add a to-do in Unmiss", then tell Siri what it is.
- "Open Today in Unmiss".
How to add a control
- Open Control Center and tap +.
- Tap Add a Control and search for Unmiss.
- Pick Start focus, Start a routine or Add a to-do.
What it doesn't do
- If a routine or focus block is already running, it won't start another.
- A to-do you add with Siri goes to your Inbox without a day. You plan it when you next open the app.
- The Add a to-do control opens the quick add screen, because a control can't take typed text.
- Spotlight only searches titles, so words in notes, subtasks or steps won't find anything.
